I bought a juicer last Friday and I must admit that I'm addicted. I am juicing beets, carrots, apples, kale, lettuce, spinach, radishes, garlic...I just might juice Ophelia if she is not careful.
I should have done this long ago. It's not easy getting five serving or more of vegetables a day. This is the best way to do it. Yes, yes....I know you don't get fiber from the juices. Don't worry, I just scoop some of the pulp and plop it into the juice and viola.... FIBER.
This is the model I bought....
It was $100 off at Macy's. I asked the sales guy if I could juice beets with this he told me "lady you could juice a COW in this thing."
What I love about it is it's surprisingly easy to clean and compact which is important because if it's a pain in the ass to clean I probably wouldn't use it.

Funny, I also got a Breville, its a great juicer. I used it maybe 3 times, and I just didn't like it. My last creation included lettuce and celery...not very tasty or appealing to the eye!! It makes a huge mess, and there is a lot of clean up. I haven't used it again.
If you have some recipies, please post your favorites...maybe it'll get me back into it!
