Gothamist reports there was a shooting on the Brighton Beach Boardwalk this afternoon. It happened right around 5:30pm around Brighton 6th street. It occured after an argument between two groups of people and some idiot that it was a good idea to whip out a gun and just start shooting. The shooting left one poor woman dead and three others in critical condition. And since it's 2011 the aftermath is now on YouTube. Warning: This video shows a dying woman
This shooting happened just a few blocks away from where I used to live. If I were still living there, it is very likely that I would have been walkng along that boardwalk.
